Meet Our Staff
Raised on a farm in Kilgore, Texas, Brother Latham accepted Jesus as his Savior at the age of nine and at 16yrs old surrendered to the gospel ministry.
Mr. Latham has earned three higher degrees: BFA of Music (SFASU), Masters of Religious Education (NOBTS), and a Masters of Education Administration (A&M at Texarkana).
His ministry and work experiences include serving as the Victim Services Coordinator/Chaplin at the Kilgore Police Department; as an Adjunct Professor with LeTourneau University; and as a Teacher with Longview ISD. He is a member of the Critical Incident Service Management, International Fellowship of Chaplains, and the Clergy and Police Alliance.
He and his wife, Phyllis Hays, are in their 48th year of marriage and counting, and are blessed with four children and nine grandchildren
For more than 40 years, Linda has faithfully served as the Ministry Assistant at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Many changes have occurred over the years, and Linda's dedication has helped shepherd us as we strive to do God's will.
